It’s that time of year again and how quickly the year has gone by. The team will try to bring a little festive cheer and wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
2018 has been a busy year for the National Healthcare Show staff, we have changed location, started a second show, our founders have been raising money for charity and what else? Oh yeah, our partner show The National Education Show 2018 happened!
November 16th saw the second annual National Education Show, as we welcomed thousands of exhibitors and delegates through Cardiff City Hall’s doors. The show went off without a hitch…. if you don’t count the unexpected fire alarm that forced 2,000 delegates out into the cold car park for 30 minutes!
We’d like to say a big thank you and a Merry Christmas to everybody who made our day so fantastic including our speakers, support staff, exhibitors and all of our lovely visitors too!
There’s been plenty more going on at the NHCS office too, including….
The National Education Show 2019
The National Education Show will return to Cardiff City Hall on the 25th October 2019. With many of this year’s exhibitors returning for another year and our 2019 seminar programme being finalised, we have lots of exciting updates planned for the next few months. Things have definitely slowed down since the show ended in November, but not for long!
The Team Moved Office
Due to company expansion, the team have said goodbye to One Central Square and moved into a bigger office. The frequency of microwave-related arguments has dropped dramatically!
We would like to say a huge thank you to all the Natwest Accelerator staff that helped us this far, and good luck in the future to all the people and their new businesses in the hub that we met along this journey.
Nicola faces freezing temperatures!
Nicola S Morgan, the other half of our founding team, has braved the cold relenting water to continue her training for her channel swim next year for July 17th. Nic is swimming in aid of Mari Lewis, who has WAGR syndrome, a rare genetic condition which affects her sight among many other things.
Nicola is raising money for an Optilec Traveller HD which will change Mari’s life. With winter coming, Nic is swimming in freezing temperatures in preparation, so send her all of the warm wishes you can!
Dawn completed her hike across Machu Picchu
Our co-founder Dawn Evans has successfully completed her hike across the Inca Trail in Machu Picchu, raising money for Cancer Research Wales. It only seems like the other day we were helping her raise the charity money, and now she has smashed it! Dawn succeeded in raising her £4,000 target for Cancer Research in memory of her good friend, Samantha.
“A massive thank you to everyone who sponsored and supported me. It’s been 18 Months worth of training. It’s been extremely tough, I’ve have ached in almost every part of my body, blisters on my feet, bites on my legs, arms, head and bum!! But it’s been a magical experience that I will never forget, I’ve made new friends, and now have memories to last a lifetime."
A Message from our Directors

We’d like to wish each and every person reading this a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
